Course Description 

You know your grammar? This interactive intermediate Italian conversation course is to begin honing your speaking skills and be able to discuss personal activities, everyday situations and be able to express your opinions – tutto in italiano! We will be using various readings ranging from authentic newspaper/magazine materials to various short stories and other types of brief readings. Note: Although this class is the most basic of the conversations classes offered, you will still need to have a decent understanding of Italian grammar since it will not be taught primarily during this course.

Mr. Manuel Rossi, MA, attended the University of Florence and graduated from Florida State University in 2002 in Italian and Literary Theory. Mr. Rossi is a Senior Lecturer, and founder of the UM Italian Film Series, for the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Miami, where he has taught since 2003.
